Are you an experienced governance professional looking for a high impact role at the heart of a large and complex organisation?
NHS Highland is seeking a Governance and Corporate Records Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the NHS Highland Board and its Committees, while leading the organisations approach to corporate records management.
In this senior post, you will:
1. Lead and line manage a specialist team delivering high quality Board and Committee secretarial support
2. Act as a trusted adviser to Board Members, NonExecutive Directors and senior leaders
3. Oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of Board and Committee business to exacting standards
4. Lead NHS Highlands corporate records management arrangements, ensuring compliance with the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011
5. Act as the organisations nominated Standards Officer, maintaining the Register of Interests
6. Drive continuous improvement in governance, records management and information practices across the organisation
Were looking for someone with:
7. Significant experience in committee administration, corporate governance or a closely related field
8. Proven leadership and line management experience
9. Strong knowledge of records management and information governance
10. Exceptional organisational, communication and influencing skills
11. The confidence and professionalism to work closely with senior leaders and Board Members

12. Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
