Commercial Management Accountant position in a fast-evolving UK business.

Operating within a collaborative and commercially focused environment, the business offers a flexible hybrid working (typically 3 days in the office and 2 from home).
Role Summary
This key commercial finance position supports senior stakeholders with accurate financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting. You will take ownership of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis, and deliver meaningful insights through KPIs and financial dashboards.
The all-encompassing role involves managing the budgeting and forecasting cycle, working closely with operational teams, and supporting cash flow management, working-capital and liquidity planning. Responsibilities also include statutory reporting support, tax provisions, audit queries and maintaining robust financial controls.
A strong emphasis is placed on business partnering, providing challenge and driving informed decision-making across the organisation.
Qualifications
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 3 years’ experience in a management accounting or commercial finance role.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
* Ability to confidently produce accurate, insightful reporting to tight deadlines and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
* A proactive, commercially minded approach with the confidence to challenge and influence.
