SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Based in our Deeside office, you will provide professional and administrative support, focused on the recruitment and onboarding of new employees within the business and ensure the HR department runs smoothly day to day.
The successful applicant will have full access to databases and work to KPI's that involve ensuring candidates are contacted for interview and seeing them right through to employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Activities:
* Coordinate hiring activities
* Undertake clerical duties (e.g., answering emails and drafting job offer letters)
* Prepare and post job ads online
* Help with CV screening and initial phone screens
* Schedule interviews
* Process background checks
* Maintain candidate database
* Handle records and paperwork
* Resolve issues as fast as possible (e.g. interview cancellations)
* Ensuring employees are vetted to a high standard, including DBS checks
* Handle the onboarding of new starters & ensuring training is carried out
* Assisting with payroll
* Organise and manage employee records
* Ensure the smooth day to day running of the HR department
* Address employee questions or concerns related to HR policies
* Assist in resolving employee conflicts
* Organising meetings and taking minutes
* Updating employee holiday and sickness records
* Assisting with policies/procedures updates
* Creating staff handbooks and newsletters

FLEXABILITY
All job roles could be subject change due to operational and client needs. You may be asked to take on other tasks within the business during certain periods of a working week.
Times of work
37.5 hours a week, Monday – Friday.
Shifts may vary between 7am – 3pm, 9am - 5pm and 10am - 6pm.
Salary
£24,901.50 per annum which equates to an hourly rate of £12.77
Terms of the role
Full time and permanent, subject to 6-month probationary period.
