Welcome to Eden Academy Wallsend. We are a child safe organisation, committed to the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of all children.
Operating from 7am to 6pm, we offer a nurturing environment with natural play spaces, open‑plan rooms filled with natural light, and abundant age‑appropriate resources. With both indoor and outdoor play areas, we create the perfect setting for 90 children to explore, grow, and thrive.
About You
As our new Centre Manager, you will :
* Lead with kindness, inclusivity, and a commitment to quality care
* Be a passionate and impactful leader with a focus on children and educators
* Inspire teams to deliver exceptional learning environments
* Empower educators to nurture children’s independence and curiosity
* Build strong connections with families and support teams through open, thoughtful communication
* Create a joyful, caring space that promotes meaningful growth for all
What You’ll Bring :
* You’ll hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an ACECQA‑recognised equivalent)
* A current Working with Children Check
* Legally ready to shine with full Australian working rights
* Safety‑conscious with a current Child Protection certificate
* Responsible and ready with your Food Safety Supervisor certificate
* A warm, approachable, and professional manner
* You love building strong, meaningful connections with families and the local community
* Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
