Your Role:
*
You will support the Finance Teams around the business by ensuring effective financial control and financial support to meet the business’ objectives.
*
You will take ownership of purchase order invoicing matching, including business partnering with the relevant teams to ensure timely receipt of purchase orders.
*
You will support all tasks associated with accounting month end including main contract and other funded activity.
*
You will support transaction processing and procurement activities.
*
You will assist monthly production of the volumetrics report, to ensure cover during staff absences.
*
You will liaise with relevant staff and departments to ensure they meet deliverables within required time scales and respond to ad hoc queries.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Qualifications: It is essential to hold a GCSE Maths and English qualification.
*
Experience: Experience of having operated within a Finance Team would be desirable for this role, as would having knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
*
Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as good numeracy and IT skills are key skills in this role. Good organisational and planning skills are also beneficial to the role.
