Responsible for:
The Group HR Director is responsible for developing and executing the HR Strategy aligned with the Group Business Plan. Leading a Group HR and Talent team the HR Director will deliver bespoke HR solutions to the Group companies. The goal is to enhance our status as an employer of choice in our respective locations with best in class talent attraction and retention.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy
* As a member of the Executive Leadership Team you will provide strategic HR guidance to the CEO and ELT. You will lead the development and delivery of the Group HR Strategy aligned with the Group Business goals.
* Collaboration and partnership is key with Divisional Managing Directors and their teams in delivery of bespoke HR solutions.
* A key strategic imperative that the HR Director will take forward is the ongoing process improvement, digitisation or automation of processes that support employee and manager effectiveness as well as reduce HR administration to enable value add HR services.
Full employee life cycle
* The HR Director will have responsibility and accountability for the end to end HR Lifecycle including, Talent Sourcing and Acquisition, Talent Management & Development including succession planning,Change Management, Employee Relations (including Union relationship) and employment law compliance, Employee engagement and culture, Compensation and Benefits, and HR Operations (HR Systems & Analytics).
* Key areas of focus will include: Continued digitisation of HR processes; Change management and integration; Employee experience and culture.
HR Budget
* Lead the annual budgeting process for the HR department for all HR budget preparation and work with the CFO on an ongoing basis on budget forecast versus actual analysis.
* Support the ELT on cost optimisation and organisational efficiency.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Minimum of 5 years experience in a Head of HR/ HR Director level position
* Minimum MCIPD Qualified.
* Bachelors in HR, Business or Occupational Psychology is desirable.
* Experience in a Group Role across multiple locations.
* Experience in similar working environment is desirable.
* Change and project Management experience.
* Union experience is desirable.
* Excellent Team management and leadership collaboration skills.
* Future thinker, innovative and technology savvy to constantly improve the HR delivery model.
* Ability to travel to different locations on a regular basis.
* Strong employment law knowledge.
