About the Role
Our partner school is seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
This role may involve supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities ⭐
1. Support pupils with SEND in lessons and during interventions
2. Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
3. Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed
4. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
5. Support pupils with personal care needs where required
6. Observe and record pupil progress and contribute to review meetings
7. Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

8. Experience working with children or young people (SEND experience desirable)
9. A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
10. Strong communication and teamwork skills
11. Ability to follow guidance from teachers and SENCO
12. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
13. Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
