We are supporting a well-regarded organisation looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner (Manager level) to join its Finance Business Partnering team. This opportunity is suited to a qualified accountant who is commercially minded and confident acting as the first point of contact for finance and business decision support, partnering closely with senior stakeholders.
In this role, you will work alongside the firm’s leadership to deliver high-quality analysis and insight that supports both strategic and operational decision-making. Using a range of finance technology tools, including Alteryx and Power BI, you will turn complex data into clear, actionable reporting. This position is ideal for a financial professional with strong business acumen, technical expertise, and analytical capability, who enjoys influencing outcomes and driving performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, providing commercial insight and financial guidance to support decision-making
* Prepare, analyse, and interpret financial information and reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with accounting standards
* Apply principles of data governance and reporting, including quality, model integrity, confidentiality, and management of definitions
* Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis and performance monitoring
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement financial controls, business improvement initiatives, and efficiency measures
* Communicate complex financial information in a clear and actionable way to non-finance stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Fully qualified accountant with a recognised accounting body (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Proven experience in finance business partnering or a similar role
* Strong understanding and application of accounting standards
* Proven experience leveraging Alteryx and Power BI for data analysis and business insight
