Your responsibilities as Senior Development Underwriter: Portfolio Management: Grow and manage a profitable book of business through sound underwriting decisions and proactive broker engagement. Broker Relationships: Build and maintain strong broker relationships, respond to queries, and identify new opportunities. Underwriting & Compliance: Underwrite new and existing business in line with guidelines, ensuring regulatory compliance. Process Improvement: Review and refine underwriting guides and lead workshops to support broker development. Operational Efficiency: Identify ways to improve processes and ensure effective service delivery. What we’re looking for: Significant underwriting experience, ideally within commercial lines. Strong technical skills and the ability to assess complex risks. Proven ability to manage and develop broker relationships.
