We are seeking a proactive candidate to join the Warehouse Line Leader role in Wisbech, PE13 2RN.
Pay rates and typical working hours:
* Sun-Wed / Tue rotation 4 days in, 3 days off, then 3 days in, 4 days off
* Training: £13.60 per hour
* Post-training: £14.60 per hour
Duties as a Warehouse Line Leader
* Manage, motivate, and train Warehouse Operatives to ensure tasks are understood and completed efficiently in line with Company policies
* Ensure all customer orders are picked and loaded accurately according to requirements
* Conduct and document all relevant checks in compliance with Company and legislative standards
* Communicate effectively with internal departments (Production, Planning, QA) and external partners (third-party hauliers) to resolve issues promptly
* Ensure all areas of responsibility comply with business, legal, and customer requirements, addressing any breaches immediately
* Ensure pickers and FLT drivers adhere to Company procedures at all times
Skills & Competencies
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Excellent communication and numeracy skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment
* Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential
