South Wales Local Resilience Forum (SWLRF) is hosted by Vale of Glamorgan Council within the Civil Protection Unit, Environment and Housing Directorate and covers the geographical area of South Wales Police. This multi-agency resilience partnership includes Category one and two responders under the Civil Contingencies Act (2004) and includes the Emergency Services, Local Authorities, Natural Resources Wales, Health Organisations, the Armed Forces, the Coastguard and Utility Companies.

The aim of the SWLRF is to be the leading resilience partnership in Wales and this post offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of this journey.
The core purpose of this role is to support SWLRF Manager to ensure that the SWLRF is effectively managed and that the partnership works successfully; ensuring that the multi-agency resilience agenda is delivered.
About you
Pay Details: Grade 7 (20-25) £32,589 - £36,363
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: Monday – Friday 37 hrs
Main Place of Work: The Alps, Wenvoe, CF5 6AA
Description: The core purpose of this role is to support SWLRF Manager to ensure that the SWLRF is effectively managed and that the partnership works successfully; ensuring that the multi-agency resilience agenda is delivered.
We are seeking to appoint a conscientious and energetic individual with excellent organisational and time management skills. Candidates should have the ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative, whilst always maintaining an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
