In return, you'll get the chance to work on exciting projects, lead from the front when needed, and further strengthen your technical expertise in a supportive environment.What You'll Be DoingWorking to strict HSE standards, ensuring all hot-work and site activities are carried out safelyProducing high-quality fabrication and welds in line with BS EN ISO 9001, ASME IX, BS EN, CE and customer specificationsInterpreting detailed engineering drawings and assembling products in line with technical requirementsManaging fabrication and weld documentation to CE standardsSupporting production to meet project timescales and customer expectationsOperating a range of equipment safely, including weld sets, grinders, cranes and forklifts (LOLER compliant)Leading team members where required and contributing to effective planning, workflow, and resource useConducting testing to assigned standardsWorking on storage tanks and associated projects to API and EEMUA standardsKeeping weld coding management up to date in accordance with ASME9 & BS EN requirementsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar Plater/Welder roleStrong understanding of API and EEMUA standardsAbility to read and interpret complex technical drawingsProven experience in fabrication, mechanical assembly, and coded weldingComfortable working independently and taking a lead role within a teamConfident meeting strict deadlines while maintaining exceptional qualityCompetent in English, Maths, and basic IT systemsA proactive approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to doing things rightAdditional RequirementsFull UK driving licenceRight to work in the UKWillingness to work overtime as requiredFlexibility to work off-site, including occasional travel to other locationsAbility to stay in temporary accommodation when projects require itIf you're an experienced Plater/Welder looking for your next challenge - somewhere you can put your skills to work on technically demanding projects while being part of a forward-thinking, quality-driven team - we want to hear from you.
