Social Care Recruitment is looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated Residential Support Workers to support children and young people aged 8–17 with learning disabilities and emotional/behavioural needs.
We offer day shifts, night shifts, or a combination of both to fit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent emotional, practical and behavioural support
* Maintain a safe, nurturing and positive environment
* Promote independence through structured routines and life skills coaching
* Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
* Support individuals with challenging behaviours, trauma and complex needs
* Participate in in‑house and community‑based activities
* Work collaboratively as part of a committed, child‑focused team
* Follow safeguarding principles and Children’s Home Regulations (Ofsted)
What We’re Looking For
* Full‑time availability (Essential)
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Essential)
* Minimum 6 months UK social care experience (children or adults)
* A proactive, resilient and confident approach
* A genuine passion for supporting young people
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred; can be arranged if needed)
