Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Retort Cooker Operator to join our production team. This is a key role within the manufacturing process, ensuring products are cooked, sterilised, and processed to the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate retort cooking equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and food safety standards.
* Monitor and record cooking cycles, temperatures, pressures, and other process parameters accurately.
* Carry out pre-start checks and basic maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order.
* Load and unload retorts carefully to maintain product integrity and traceability.
* Follow all HACCP, BRCGS, and quality control procedures at all times.
* Work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure product consistency and safety.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
* Report any deviations, faults, or non-conformances promptly to the supervisor.
