Role overview

A once-in-a-career opportunity awaits One of the sport and entertainment industry's most sought-after roles is now available – PR Manager at Soccer Aid for UNICEF. This senior role will oversee all sport and lifestyle-focused PR for one of the country's most significant cultural events. 2026 is the 20
th
Anniversary of the event.

Since its inception, Soccer Aid for UNICEF has raised over £121m for UNICEF and been watched in sold-out stadia including Old Trafford, Wembley, the London Stadium, Stamford Bridge and The Etihad Stadium. Every year, it attracts the very biggest A-list talent from music, film and TV – and is consistently an ITV ratings winner.

The successful candidate will join the media delivery vehicle behind Soccer Aid – the award-winning agency, End to End Media. A boutique PR agency in its own right, End to End delivers communications strategies to a range of household names and brands (betting, sports technology and film) – the successful candidate would also work across these accounts. Standards are high and progression will be quick for those who get results.

Non-negotiables

This is a high-profile role – with expectations to match. As such, please only apply if you can robustly evidence:

* A minimum of seven years' experience in sport/entertainment/lifestyle media
* Consistent delivery of strategic and impactful coverage across all mediums
* An understanding of the charity sector and associated fundraising initiatives
* An understanding of the TV industry and 'appointment to view' strategies
* Evidence of spotting an opportunity and quickly delivering an outcome
* Experience of dealing directly with talent and associated agents/publicists
* A history of activating commercial partnerships and delivering rights
* Working in a multi-stakeholder campaign – ideally in TV and/or live events
* Practised 'operations history' of delivering press conferences/red carpets etc.
* Board-level report writing, presenting and c-suite management
* Outstanding written English and excellent editorial judgement
* Management of the picture publicity process
* Compilation of high-end coverage reports and data analysis

* Administration of company credit card and MD's expenses
* Project-based budget management
* iPhone-based 'content capture' and basic editing
* Bonafide contacts with media including but not limited to:
* ITV Programming (GMB, Lorraine, This Morning & Loose Women)
* BBC Programming (Breakfast, The One Show & Regional News)
* Press Association
* Reach Group
* DMG Media
* News International
* 'Publishers' where sport and lifestyle converge (Lad Bible & )
* Influencers and their agents/management

Person specification

Finding the right character will be as important as relevant experience. This role is fast-paced – by other agency standards – and requires someone who can seize the initiative, while working with efficiency and pragmatism.

The agency welcomes new ideas and 'best practice' processes – however, the successful candidate must be flexible in completing tasks without the luxury of long-term forward planning.

A calm and professional manner is sought, as is a creative mind which can take an idea from thought to tangible media coverage. You will be comfortable presenting in front of clients but equally adept at working alone where circumstances dictate.

Interview process

The interview process will move quickly. Your first interview will be with the Director of Communications, who may contact you before the application deadline – if your CV impresses. Next, you will do a short assessment before meeting other members of the PR, Social Media and Marketing staff.
