Our client, a reputable independent garage in Hemel Hempstead, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This opportunity is ideal for experienced technicians seeking a role that offers stability, growth, and a supportive working environment. The successful Vehicle Technician will perform vital repair and maintenance tasks within a well-established business that values quality work and customer satisfaction.
Benefits:
* Competitive salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience
* Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm
* Saturdays on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 2 or 3)
* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
* Conducting vehicle service checks and comprehensive repairs
* Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment

* Adhering to health and safety standards within the workshop
* Supporting team colleagues as required
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
* Full UK driving licence
* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)
* Relevant experience in an automotive workshop environment
* Good working attitude and strong work ethic
* Motivation to further develop technical knowledge and skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Commitment to maintaining workshop standards and ensuring tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness
