We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, delivering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
What you’ll be doing
As an engineer, you will form part of our Metering team that provides a wide range of services including smart installations, investigating non-communicating smart meters, and emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf of EON, OVO, EDF and our expanding client portfolio. You’ll work independently, engage with customers, and help ensure jobs are completed on time with clear explanations of the benefits and safe usage of their new meter. You’ll respond to emergencies, restore power or gas when required, and support customers as needed. You’ll receive continuous training to maintain and develop your skills. The role offers opportunities for progression within M Group Energy.
You’ll be supported with weekly meetings and have access to field managers and support teams. No day is the same, and there are opportunities to shine.
What You’ll Bring
* Valid UK driving licence
* Must have held your licence for 1 year and have fewer than 6 points
* CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel; experience installing gas and electric smart meters
* Previous MOCOPA experience
Desirable qualifications (not required to apply):
* REGT1, 3 phase, CT
