Your newpany is one of the largest independent securitypanies in the UK and prides themselves on being able to offer innovative bespoke security solutions to their customers in both the private and public sectors. They have been established for almost 40 years. They offer the latest technologies nationally, employing over 500 staff, and are more than equipped to offer end-to-end solutions from design, installation and maintenance contracts. They operate in seven locations with the head office based near Romford in Essex.
Your new role will be to join the finance team and process the monthly payroll from start to finish along with the pension and vehicle related tasks.
Duties to include
1. End-to-End Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll from start to finish, ensuring all payments are accurate and timely for 5 locations (400 employees)
2. New Starter Documentation: Collect and input necessary documentation for new employees, including P45, HMRC New Starter Checklist, and bank details.
3. Payroll Accuracy: Ensure all fixed and variable payroll elements (salaries, bonuses, deductions, etc.) are correct and fully verified before payroll processing.
4. Liaison with Internal Departments: Coordinate with other departments to handle monthly payroll deductions, such as salary sacrifices, credit card expenses, etc.
5. Pension Administration: Manage pension contributions, including reconciliation and uploading of relevant data.
6. Vehicle Management: Overseepany vehicle-related tasks, including management of PCNs (Penalty Charge Notices), P11D submissions, and private mileage reporting.
What you'll need to succeed is recent experience working in a similar role, goodmunication skills, and attention to detail. A payroll qualification would be desirable, and Sage payroll experience is essential.
