This role is primarily depot-based, with occasional site attendance where required.
Youll be responsible for ensuring a fleet of MEWPs is safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards, playing a key role in statutory inspections and fleet readiness.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out CAP / LOLER inspections on powered access equipment Service, maintain and repair MEWPs including scissor lifts, boom lifts and access platforms Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and fault diagnostics Identify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues and carry out repairs Ensure all equipment complies with LOLER, PUWER and company safety standards Accurately complete inspection reports, service records and job documentation Liaise with depot staff and operations to ensure fleet availability Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment Requirements: CAP qualification (Competent Assessed Person) essential Previous experience working with powered access / MEWPs Strong understanding xjlbheb of LOLER and PUWER regulations Mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic engineering experience IPAF licences Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently Whats on Offer: Competitive basic salary Overtime opportunities Progression Opportunities Stable, long-term role within a growing business Supportive management and modern fleet Company car & phone
