Company Nigel Wright are working with a leading, dynamic, manufacturing business in the recruitment of an internal communications lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growth orientated business with a global customer base and play a key role in a successful marketing team, focusing on providing engaging communication and maintaining a high employer brand profile. The role will be based from the site in Newcastle upon Tyne with the option for some hybrid working. ( Minimum 3 days per week will be office based). Role Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver regular, clear, and accurate communications that foster strong cross-functional team understanding. Enhance business efficiency through effective communication strategies. Maintain and elevate our client's employer brand through engaging content and messaging. Implement annual internal communications plans. Create a monthly program of corporate updates showcasing excellent work, best practices, and the latest news from across the business. Produce content for the quarterly newsletter, including film and written materials to support employer brand communication. Support internal initiatives such as the launch of new benefits, processes & procedures and promotion of events. Ensure the effective running of company events throughout the year. Create branded materials to support the work of the People and Culture team. Assist with other aspects of marketing as required. Experience Previous experience in delivery of internal communications. A proactive and creative approach. Communicative, open, and friendly approach, with the confidence to engage with staff across the business Ability to work collaboratively and individually to tight deadlines. Enjoyment in distilling complex information into clear, compelling copy. Able to work in a busy environment with the flexibility to pick up tasks and react quickly to changing priorities. Excellent copywriting skills are essential. Comfortable working across a range of traditional and digital media.
