The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable OpenLink solutions for precious metals. This role requires a subject matter expert in OpenLink who can provide architectural and technical guidance to development teams.
About the Role:
This senior position oversees customization and enhancement of OpenLink modules, including trade capture, risk, settlement, and reporting. The successful candidate will ensure best practices in coding, configuration, testing, and deployment within OpenLink environments. They will conduct code reviews, provide mentoring and technical support to junior developers and team members, manage integration of OpenLink with upstream/downstream systems, and troubleshoot complex issues across the OpenLink stack.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of OpenLink solutions for precious metals
* Act as a subject matter expert in OpenLink and provide architectural and technical guidance to development teams
* Oversee customization and enhancement of OpenLink modules, including trade capture, risk, settlement, and reporting
* Ensure best practices in coding, configuration, testing, and deployment within OpenLink environments
* Conduct code reviews and provide mentoring and technical support to junior developers and team members
* Manage integration of OpenLink with upstream/downstream systems
* Troubleshoot complex issues across the OpenLink stack
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of hands-on experience with OpenLink Endur/Findur, including AVS, OpenComponents, JVS, and the OpenLink API. Proficiency in OpenLink core modules such as Deal Capture, Risk Management, Settlement, and Accounting is also required. Strong understanding of precious metals and experience with technical customization, scripting, and performance optimization within OpenLink are necessary. Expertise in integrating OpenLink with other systems using Java, .NET, or REST/SOAP APIs is a must. Additionally, strong knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and proficiency in SQL are required. The ability to lead and mentor technical teams, manage timelines, and coordinate across global teams is essential. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills are also necessary.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Prior experience working with cloud migration of OpenLink (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices and knowledge of other ETRM/CTRM platforms (e.g., Allegro, Aspect, Eka) are also beneficial. Experience with regulatory reporting (REMIT, EMIR, Dodd-Frank) and understanding of risk analytics, valuation models, and market data feeds are desired. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control (Git, Jenkins) is also a plus.
