Procurement and Supplier Development Lead
This role is responsible for developing supply chain readiness and supplier capability to support a significant production ramp-up across complex manufacturing programmes. It focuses on supplier engagement, industrialisation activities and capacity assurance to enable sustainable growth, continuity of supply and long-term performance across an evolving manufacturing environment.
This position would suit a procurement or supply chain professional with strong experience in supplier development within a manufacturing environment. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, improving supplier performance, supporting production growth and influencing strategic sourcing and investment decisions through data-driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead supplier development activities to ensure capacity, capability and supply chain readiness
* Conduct detailed supplier assessments, risk evaluations and run-at-rate demonstrations
* Collaborate with internal manufacturing, engineering, quality and commodity teams
* Support make-or-buy decisions and strategic sourcing recommendations
* Identify cost-saving, performance improvement and capacity expansion opportunities
