Senior Neighbourhood Officer (Level 6) Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Neighbourhood Officer (Level 6) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Lead and manage neighbourhood development initiatives to enhance community engagement. Oversee the execution of local projects and programs aimed at improving quality of life. Act as a liaison between residents, local authorities, and community organizations. Develop and implement strategies for conflict resolution within the community. Conduct regular assessments of neighbourhood needs and report findings to management. Manage and mentor a team of Neighbourhood Officers, fostering a collaborative team environment. Facilitate community meetings and events to promote participation and gather feedback. Requirements Proven experience in community development or urban planning, with at least 5 years in a related field. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on community engagement. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. In-depth knowledge of local governance and community resources. Proficient in data analysis and report writing for assessing community needs. Bachelor's degree in social sciences, urban planning, public administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
