Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Brackley to appoint an Unqualified English Teacher starting in February or April 2026. The Role Will Involve:
1. Supporting and delivering English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, using established schemes of work
2. Helping students strengthen their reading, writing, and comprehension skills
3. Providing small-group and one-to-one support, particularly for literacy interventions
4. Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining an inclusive learning environment
5. Supporting enrichment opportunities such as reading programmes, creative writing activities, or debate clubs
This Opportunity Is Ideal For:
6. English graduates or candidates with strong subject knowledge
7. Cover supervisors, teaching assistants, tutors, or instructors looking to progress
8. Individuals considering teacher training pathways such as PGCE, SCITT, or School Direct
9. Confident communicators with a positive and adaptable approach
10. Candidates with experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable, not essential)
