Overview
We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants for full time or part time roles, term time only, working with specific children with Special Education Needs in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. We are also looking to appoint a Nursery Nurse for a full time role, term time only, working in our EYFS classrooms.
Good literacy and numeracy skills, a positive approach, patience and a sense of humour are essential for all posts within the school. Experience of working with a variety of needs including ASC would be beneficial. A NVQ level 3 childcare qualification (or above) is required for the Nursery Nurse role.

About you
Qualification and Experience
• Experience of working with relevant age groups within a learning environment.
• Good verbal, numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous learning support experience would be an advantage
• For Nursery Nurse NVQ level 3 childcare qualification, or equivalent, or above, and
• A sound working knowledge of the EYFS framework

• Understand and implement the school’s child protection policy and related DfE documents

• Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, reporting all concerns in line with school policy
• Assist with the supervision of pupils as required, for example at break-times
• Accompany teaching staff and pupils on school visits, taking responsibility for a group of pupils under the supervision of the teacher
• Work in partnership with the teacher to support the EYFS induction programme if based in EYFS. This may include parents’ evenings and home visits.
