Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Joinery Fitter located in Solihull. The Joinery Fitter will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials to specified requirements. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints, installing finished products, ensuring quality control, and adhering to health and safety standards. The Joinery Fitter will also maintain tools and equipment, collaborate with other team members, and complete projects within set timelines.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in woodworking, joinery, and the use of hand and power tools
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
* Experience in installing and fitting various joinery products
* Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous
* Relevant certifications and qualifications in carpentry or joinery are beneficial
