Overview
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join the team as a Strategic Finance Business Partner reporting to the Strategic Director of Finance Strategy.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with service managers to ensure best practice in financial planning, monitoring and risk mitigation.
* Provide leadership and assurance around complex capital programmes.
* Advisory role to Directors and Members on high‑value, high‑risk decisions.
* Drive teams toward excellence through strong communication and leadership.
Qualifications
* Strong strategic finance leadership experience within a place‑based portfolio.
* Track record in financial governance, risk management and value for money in a public sector context.
* Ability to influence at senior level and partner with senior business stakeholders.
