Role: Business Development Manager

My client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Successful business. This national, field-based role reports directly to the Sales Director and offers the chance to make a real impact on revenue growth and client engagement.
The Role
1. Drive new business opportunities through self-generated appointments.
2. Manage complex, multi-site deals using a consultative approach.
3. Research and target prospective accounts in key industries, identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers, procurement teams, and tender processes.
5. Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute strategic account plans.
6. Deliver presentations and proposals that demonstrate value and secure new business.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
7. Proven track record in solution or consultative roles within the Fire & Security sector.
8. Experience handling complex, multi-site deals and dealing with senior group-level decision-makers.
9. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
10. Knowledge of Fire & Security regulations and industry trends.
11. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and develop strategic plans.
12. Full UK driving licence and relevant Fire & Security qualifications (., FIA, system design).
