The Role: As a Personal Tax Manager, you’ll join a collaborative and high-performing tax team. You’ll take ownership of a private client portfolio and deliver a blend of compliance and advisory work, while playing an integral role in developing junior staff and contributing to departmental initiatives. Requirements Manage your own portfolio of private clients, primarily delivering self-assessment tax returns, as well as any associated advisory work. Provide high-level personal tax planning, including IHT, CGT, and Trust advice. Supervise and support junior team members in delivering work on your portfolio. Participate in departmental strategy, including training, development, and process improvement. Handle billing, WIP management, and ensure administration is up to date. Potential line management responsibilities, depending on experience. Benefits Salary circa £60,000 - £67,500 per annum, depending on experience and qualification status. ATT and/or CTA qualified. Strong technical knowledge in personal tax and associated planning. Proven experience supervising or managing team members. Comfortable managing client relationships.
