Experimental Test Strategy Engineer
Location: Derby
The Experimental Engineering team owns the strategy for all Experimental Verification and Validation capabilities within the business, supporting in-service boats through to future projects and new technologies. We seek a proactive individual to join the test capability and strategy area, ensuring test facilities meet current and future data needs.
The role involves investigating and determining data requirements with technical customers, overseeing multiple project demands, and guiding testing technology investments.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage long-term roadmaps for testing capabilities and facilities.
2. Coordinate with capability areas to meet current and future testing needs.
3. Act as the primary contact for test requests, engaging stakeholders and defining solutions.
4. Lead testing program development, including requirements capture and testing options endorsement.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations, including research at university centers.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering or sciences, experience in strategy and capability development, and experimental testing relevant to engineering. Understanding measurement techniques, submarine enterprise, and safety standards is essential. Strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills are required.
