Gravitas Group are partnered with a leading UK Housing Association. They’re looking to hire a Financial Manager – Development to join the team and report into the Head of Finance. As the Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Finance and lead a team of 4 Finance Analysts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Fully engage with key stakeholders across the organisation and provide comprehensive strategic and business support to the organisation.
* Coordinate the production of financial, performance and ad-hoc reports for the Group’s internal approval boards and committees and to support the decision-making process.
* Managing team of Finance Analyst and Business Analysts, up to 4 direct reports
* Lead the development and maintenance of the financial appraisal model for all new investment.
* Maintain and update all financial models/ systems for Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance. This includes the investment appraisal and corporate models.
* Maintain the necessary relevant business records and systems.
* Responsible for procuring, advising and implementing new systems for Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance.
* Manage risks associated with areas under the jobholder’s control including an overall evaluation of financial exposure, risk analysis, and recommend risk mitigating measures.
* Deputise for the Head in their areas of responsibility as and when required.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
* Experience in finance and accounting relating to social housing, construction and private residential property development.
* Experience with audit, management reporting and business partnering.
* Advanced knowledge of excel for reporting and monitoring, working knowledge of VBA and SQL
* Proven track record of managing, developing and motivating a small team.
