Surrey County Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding Service in Reigate. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong safeguarding experience who's ready to lead on complex work, support newer colleagues, and play a key role in improving outcomes for children and families. About the role As a Senior Social Worker, you'll hold responsibility for a caseload of more complex cases and support the development of less experienced colleagues, including ASYEs and students. Your work will focus on building strong, trusting relationships with families while using your professional curiosity and experience to assess and manage risk. You'll also contribute to reflective supervision, peer learning, and driving forward a positive, outcomes-focused team culture.
