We have a position available in our Winnersh Service Centre for a Trainee/Entry Level Repair Engineer. This will involve Diagnosing, Repair and Validation of Electronic/RF Test & Measurement equipment to maintain functionality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
1. Service/Repair and validation of both Keysight and Non-Keysight Test and Measurement equipment (Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generator, Oscilloscopes, PSU’s etc).
2. Performing routine tasks using defined procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgement.
3. Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
4. Understand customer requirements through written and face to face communications.
5. Travel to customer sites <10% performing on site support
Qualifications
6. GCSE (Maths, Science & English) at Grade C (or equivalent) or above.
7. Certifications in an Engineering discipline (Level 3 NVQ).
8. IT knowledge (Windows, Office: Word, Excel, Power-Point etc.).
9. Good communication skills in English (both written & verbal).
10. Ability to recognise and anticipate problems and search proactively for solutions.
11. Ability to work independently and proactive attitude.
12. Able to obtain UK security clearance.
13. Technical experience within Electronics, RF, Test & Measurement Equipment (would be an advantage).
14. Electronic Assembly/Test/Diagnostics (would be an advantage).
