We’re on the lookout for an energetic and reliable Sales & Service Coordinator to join our Nelson team!Here at Humes, we recognise the important role our Sales & Service Coordinators play in keeping the business running.With that in mind we want to share what we can offer you when you work with us.

About the Role Your duties will include serving customers and taking orders over the phone along with general administrative and stock room duties within the branch. You must be fit and comfortable lifting weight up to 25kgs as well as confident interacting and providing great service to our customers. You will be required to do deliveries to customers sites, unloading and loading in accordance with safe operating procedures while maintaining a professional image at all times. We're a team! So, you must be willing to multitask doing other duties in store or in the yard as required. Standard hours of work are 40-hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. However, some flexibility in start/finish time may be considered. Skills and Experience Class 2 Driver License, F endorsement & Forklift license advantageous, while training for these can be arranged as they will be essential to perform the role.While a background in either yard work or truck driving will be advantageous to this role, it will also be important you are you are able to demonstrate:
5. Self-motivation and reliability.
6. A focus on strong customer service
7. Strong communication written and verbal
8. Ability to solve or offer solutions to customers
9. Able to run contracts interacting with customers to ensure orders and deliveries are serviced promptly.
10. Able to undertake some repetitive heavy lifting– up to 25kgs
11. A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.
