About the Role As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our veterinary clinic remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and their beloved pets. Your main responsibilities will include: Cleaning both staff and clinical areas, such as consulting rooms, waiting room and communal spaces to a high standard. Handling clinical waste in compliance with health and safety regulations. Adhering to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) guidelines. Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in line with hospital protocols. Accountability for performing weekly health and safety checks and reporting as required. About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience in cleaning or housekeeping (preferably in a medical or clinical setting, but not essential). Is knowledgeable about or willing to learn COSHH and clinical waste handling. Willing to take on responsibility for regular health and safety checks such as fire alarm and legionella testing and reporting. Is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work.
