We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven SHEQ Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Carlisle.
As SHEQ Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality across all areas of our operations. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and growing organisation.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and oversee the company’s SHEQ strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
* Lead maintenance of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
* Monitor and analyse SHEQ performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
* Act as the senior point of contact for all SHEQ matters internally and externally.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies (e.g., HSE, Environment Agency).
* Provide regular SHEQ performance reports and strategic updates to senior leadership.
Skills/Knowledge:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior SHEQ role within construction, ideally painting & decorating.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (essential); NEBOSH Construction Certificate (desirable).
* Chartered Membership of IOSH or equivalent (desirable).
* Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001 and 14001, (desirable).
* Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
