Estimator / VDA Vacancy - Slough!
1. Up To £50,000 Salary Dependent On Experience
2. Monday To Friday (45 Hour Week) / Saturdays When Required (Very Rare)
3. Well-Established Busy Accident Repair Bodyshop Environment
4. ATA Advantageous Although Not Essential, Audatex Training Required
Our Client, an well-established Accident Repair Bodyshop with sites across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, are currently looking for an experienced Estimator / VDA to join their team in Slough!
The Estimator VDA will be responsible for assisting with assessing the level and extent of damage to vehicles following accidents and determine if the vehicle can be repaired and the work that needs to be carried out in order to repair it.
Duties for this Estimator / VDA will commonly include:
5. Assessing the extent of damage to the structural, body, mechanical, electrical and interior components of the vehicle
6. Estimating parts and labour costs to repair damage
7. Preparing insurance forms to indicate repair costs and recommendations
8. Negotiating contracts with material suppliers
9. Monitoring efficiency of work and processes to ensure quality repairs
The Estimator / VDA will need to be able to demonstrate:
10. Previous Audatex knowledge / ATA NVQ Qualifications advantageous
11. The ability to keep up to date with developments in engine and electrical technologies
12. Strong communication skills
13. Good time management skills
14. Strong management and leadership skills
15. Good communication and organisational skills
Our Client is rewarding the successful Estimator VDA with a competitive salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience. Monday to Friday working hours (45 hour week 8am - 5pm) with Saturdays required only rarely due to business needs.
