With high standards, a focus on excellence, and a culture built on trust, clear communication, and consistency, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join their Belfast team.
The Role
As Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to clients while supporting and developing junior team members. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising and preparing year-end accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships
2. Preparing associated tax computations and returns (tax experience beneficial but not essential)
3. Supporting ad-hoc projects including client transactions, M&A, and raising finance
4. Training, mentoring, and overseeing junior team members
5. Assisting management with organising and prioritising team workflow
6. Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
About You
7. ACCA or ACA qualified
8. Minimum 1 year PQE within an accountancy practice (2 years for Assistant Manager level)
9. Previous audit experience is advantageous
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
11. Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, or similar cloud-based accounting software
12. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and relevant IT systems
13. Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a client-facing environment
