The Global Healthcare Group is actively looking for an Investment Banking Analyst that will support the team in our London office. As part of this role, the Analyst will work across multiple sub-sectors, notably Healthcare IT, Healthcare Services, Pharma Services, Life Sciences & Diagnostics and MedTech, amongst others. The Analyst will execute in-depth analyses to support new business development, transaction execution and the delivery of investment banking products and services to our clients. In addition, the Analyst will work closely with clients to advance projects, gather necessary diligence information, build financial models, and craft materials critical to the success of completing transactions. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Lead and support in the preparation of financial analyses and presentations necessary for evaluating potential opportunities and transactions Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, including, confidential investor presentations, management presentations, amongst others Execute valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, precedent transactions, and comparable company analyses Drive process workstreams forward by coordinating and communicating with team members and serving as a point of contact for clients Work alongside Senior Bankers to assist with new business opportunities and broader business development efforts Mentor summer interns and invest in teaching subsequent classes of analysts, serving as a William Blair ambassador across all aspects of the role Additional responsibilities as requested Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required Internship or prior work experience in financial services preferred Client first attitude with a drive to deliver exceptional results Thorough quantitative and analytical skills to develop financial models and valuations analyses, with a strong understanding of accounting and finance Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and communication skills Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously (projects, pitches and business development support) Ability to collaborate with other team members, whilst also being able to work autonomously as required Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) LI-BC1
