Our client, a leader in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Stock and Despatch Controller to join their team in Newport. This is a permanent role offering a unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking products and applications within the security and communications industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Goods Inwards and Receipting of Stock, including visual quality inspection
* Location of Stock and Stock Checks
* Maintain accurate stock information on internal systems
* General Picking and Packing duties
* Outbound Shipping and Collections
* Working with partner logistics companies
* General Housekeeping of Stock Areas
* Supporting the production team with some equipment maintenance
Job Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills and a team enthusiast
* Good understanding of Office 365
* Awareness of Health and Safety regulations
