Senior Design Manager - Water Industry
A leading Tier-1 contractor delivering large non-infrastructure projects within the water industry is looking for a Senior Design Manager to lead and govern the development of innovative, cost-effective design solutions on their Southern Water framework.

Duties for Senior Design Manager:

Lead and support multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver practical, buildable solutions.
*
Ensure the development of cost-effective design solutions that align with the scope of work and project budgets.
*
Provide strategic direction and leadership in the design process.
*
Systematically record, monitor, and control design changes to maximise cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
*
Support and mentor design managers and engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
*
Conduct regular design review meetings to monitor progress and address any challenges proactively.
Qualifications/Experience for Senior Design Manager:
* HNC/HND/Degree in relevant engineering field or equivalent
* Experience working within water or similar process-driven environment
* Contractual and commercial knowledge
* Chartered Engineer status (desirable)
* Eligible to work in the UK
