About the Role
As a key member of the Executive Support Team, you will:
1. Provide confidential administrative and PA support to senior leaders
2. Manage complex diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements
3. Act as a central point of contact, liaising across the University and with external stakeholders
4. Prepare and coordinate high-level meetings, including agendas and documentation
5. Proactively manage emails and correspondence, prioritising urgent matters
6. Support projects, events, and recruitment processes
7. Build strong relationships and manage upwards to maximise leadership effectiveness
This is a demanding yet highly rewarding role requiring excellent judgement, discretion, and adaptability.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who brings:
✔ Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills
✔ Strong written and verbal communication abilities
✔ Confidence working with senior stakeholders
✔ Proactive problem-solving and sound judgement
✔ Experience managing complex diaries and administrative systems
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
Desirable:
8. Experience within a large organisation or higher education environment
9. Event planning experience
10. Understanding of the UK Higher Education sector
