We are looking to recruit a team of drivers to help deliver a world class transport service at The Championships 2026.

1. Safe and competent driver, proficient in operating both manual and automatic vehicles
2. Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity, commitment and professionalism
3. Comprehensive driving knowledge of South West and Central London, including the surrounding airports
4. Confident using technology and able to competently operate a smartphone including navigation software, as well as adapt to new platforms with ease?
5. Responds quickly and calmly to changes in instructions
6. Handles interactions with confidentiality at all times
7. Previous experience of providing excellent customer service
8. Smart and presentable while representing the AELTC
9. Excellent communication and English language skills (additional foreign languages would be beneficial)
Important Information
10. You must have the right to work in the UK.
11. You must hold a valid and current driving licence and have done so for 5 years
12. You must be based within a 10-mile radius of Wimbledon during the period of the contract
13. You will be required to have your driving licence status validated through an independent organisation and/or to undergo a DBS check for certain driving roles.
14. You must be available to work every day from 19 June - 13 July 2026 (including weekends).
15. You will be required to attend two days of mandatory training on site at the AELTC between 14 - 17 June.
If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to an in-person Assessment Centre taking place between 28 - 30 January 2026.
The Driving Role
Our drivers are an integral part of the transport team as they will move a wide variety of high-profile clients from accommodation sites throughout London to the AELTC and other official venues. Responsibilities include:
16. Working as part of a large team of drivers to deliver a professional and timely courtesy car service to The Championships
17. Chauffeuring competitors, officials and accredited VIPs to and from The Championships, Qualifying and official practice venues from the first day of practice until the end of The Championships
18. Servicing arrivals and departures of competitors and invited guests from London airports and stations at the beginning and end of their stay
19. Working under the guidance and direction of the Fleet Management team
20. Providing an exceptional and discrete level of service to all passengers
21. Adhering to all relevant road safety, highway and traffic regulations
Shift Patterns:
22. Schedules generally run as alternating AM & PM shifts e.g., PM Monday, AM Tuesday, PM Wednesday
23. Each shift will last approximately 7 hours and have staggered start times: AM shifts run between 6:00-16:30 and PM shifts run between 13:00-00:30. Your exact shift time will be allocated to you should be successful
24. After you work a PM shift, you will take the car home and start your AM shift the next day from home.
25. You will be allocated days off throughout the tournament, with opportunity to take on more shifts should you wish
Minibus Shifts:
Minibus shifts are also available alongside our main fleet and contribute to our shuttle service. The role is less technology heavy, and shifts will either be only AM or only PM shifts with a minimum of two days off throughout the tournament. If you hold the correct minibus entitlement on your driving licence, and are interested in minibus shifts, you will be able to specify this on the application form.
