We are looking for a Full Time Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team in Thatcham. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will lead a team of warehouse shift managers, section leaders and operatives. Warehouse Operations Manager role details:
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours Per Week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Thatcham, RG19 4BQ
What you’ll do:
11. Manage, Support & Lead shift managers with counselling, coaching and the development of all employees with effective communication within the warehouse teams
12. Accountable for Operational excellence i.e. cost and service delivery including Peak planning/delivery
13. Be responsible for overall productivity within the operation, ensure that activities are cost effective and manage levels of manpower and other resources
14. Customer service management including escalation to store
15. Accountable for delivery of operational KPIs. Maintain and improve performance levels to maximise efficiency of operation in line with account KPI's
16. Accountability for delivering the warehouse budget
Who you are:
17. Thorough knowledge and hands on experience of a warehouse function within the FMCG Distribution Industry.
18. A background operating at a managerial level is a must & a passion for teamwork, coaching & mentoring
19. Excellent team management and customer relationship skills.
20. An analytical mind-set.
21. Flexibility to cover a variety of shift patterns in the future.
22. Previous experience working with Trade Unions
