Our London studio is currently seeking accomplished Senior Interior Designers with a demonstrable and distinguished background in interiors and workplace design. The senior designer will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience and be proficient in all facets of design and design project management, including hospitality, workplace, luxury residential and landscape (garden) design.
Successful candidates will bring substantial experience gained within a professional design practice, ideally within an organisation of comparable scale and complexity. You will be expected to demonstrate outstanding design and conceptual capability, exceptional presentation and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage client relationships. The role requires the capacity to uphold and deliver design excellence throughout all project stages, from initial concept and briefing through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Project Phase
* Lead and manage the development of tender submissions.
* Oversee the preparation of high‑quality tender and pitch presentation materials.
* Lead and/or support the presentation of proposals to clients.
Project Delivery
* Collaborate with the Project Lead and project team to develop design proposals for client presentation, including concept development, spatial layouts, finishes, materials and furniture strategies.
* Gather and interpret client briefs and prepare comprehensive project briefing documentation.
* Produce design and technical information in accordance with agreed programmes and cost parameters.
* Specify furniture, finishes and materials, assessing suitability, sustainability credentials and maintenance requirements.
* Attend and contribute to client presentations, design reviews and project meetings as required.
* Undertake site visits to review construction progress and design intent.
* Support the successful handover of completed projects to clients.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Degree‑qualified in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.
* Significant experience in a comparable senior role, with approximately 10+ years’ industry experience preferred.
* Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and relevant statutory legislation.
* Advanced proficiency in Revit(s) essential.
* Excellent design and technical expertise, with a proactive approach to ongoing research into furniture systems, products, finishes and materials.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
* Proven experience in client liaison, with a clear understanding of client needs and expectations.
* Demonstrated experience delivering fast‑track projects from inception through to completion.
* Exceptional client management and presentation skills.
* An understanding of project financial management, including programme and budget control, is desirable.
* A willingness to act as a design mentor, supporting and developing more junior members of the team.
