HW Interim Solutions are partnering with a key client to engage a Cyber Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) Lead to establish and mature an intelligence-led cyber defense capability across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
This role will focus on translating threat intelligence into measurable exposure reduction, ensuring vulnerabilities are prioritised, tracked and remediated based on real-world threat activity. The objective is to reduce risk to critical services supporting UK Critical National Infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
* Establish and mature the Cyber Threat Intelligence capability
* Own and develop the vulnerability and exposure management programme across IT and OT
* Correlate threat intelligence with vulnerability and asset data to identify active exposure
* Drive risk-based prioritisation and remediation of vulnerabilities based on exploitability and threat context
* Define and track key metrics including exposure to actively exploited vulnerabilities and mean time to remediate
* Monitor emerging threats impacting UK critical infrastructure
* Deliver board-level reporting translating cyber risk into operational and business impact
* Work closely with SOC, Incident Response and engineering teams to ensure intelligence drives defensive action
Experience required
* 7+ years in cyber security
* Experience leading CTI and/or vulnerability / exposure management functions
* Strong understanding of threat actor TTPs and exploit development trends
* Experience implementing risk-based vulnerability prioritisation and remediation models
* Experience working with vulnerability management tooling and remediation workflows
* Ability to brief senior leadership and board stakeholders
Experience in Operational Technology, ICS/SCADA or Critical National Infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
