We also respond to outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases in North London and provide the infant BCG programme to newborns in the area.

Job Details
* Job Title: Senior Administrator
* Contract: Fixed Term until 1st September 2026
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm (average 7.5-hour shifts)

Job Purpose
The post holder will support the Programme Manager/Team Lead to ensure timely delivery of NHS school-aged vaccination programs and achieve results in line with contract specifications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare school calendars for immunisation sessions and catch-up clinics.
2. Manage staff rota, ensuring coverage at least 8 weeks in advance, following SOPs.
3. Arrange emergency cover for staff absences.
4. Manage consent form triaging according to SOPs.
5. Ensure team members are trained and follow protocols.
6. Conduct stock audits and maintain supplies.
7. Support recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
8. Collaborate with schools and the team to improve vaccine uptake.
9. Attend and conduct quality audits in schools, gather feedback.
10. Ensure staff have access to and sign PGDs for immunisations.
11. Deputise for the Team Lead when required.
12. Contribute actively to team meetings.
13. Perform other duties as appropriate and in line with the role.
14. Comply with company policies and procedures.
Experience and Skills
1. GCSEs or equivalent, with grades C or above in English and Maths.
2. Experience working in a community setting or with children and young people (desirable).
3. Ability to prioritise and manage workload independently.
4. Assertive, team-oriented, and critical thinking skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Strong IT skills.
7. Driving license (desirable).
8. Excellent organisational skills.
