Are you a driven Senior Town Planner looking to join a well-established and forward-thinking consultancy in Manchester?
We’re working with a highly respected planning and development consultancy that is looking to grow its Manchester team with the addition of a talented Senior Planner. With an impressive portfolio of residential, mixed-use, commercial, and regeneration projects across the North West and beyond, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role with plenty of autonomy and long-term progression.
Whether you're already operating at senior level or ready to make the jump, this role offers the right mix of project responsibility, client engagement, and professional growth.
The Role:
Manage a range of planning applications and appeals across multiple sectors
Provide expert planning advice to clients, landowners, and developers
Represent clients at meetings with local authorities and stakeholders
Assist in mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development
Help drive new business and strengthen existing client relationships
✅ What We’re Looking For:
MRTPI qualified (or very close to submission)
4+ years’ experience in planning – consultancy or local authority background
Confident managing your own caseload and dealing directly with clients
Strong written, analytical, and communication skills
Good knowledge of planning policy in the North West
What’s on Offer:
Salary of £40,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
