Join Our Team as a Production Team Lead

Aulds Delicious Desserts is one of the UK's leading dessert manufacturers, producing frozen treats enjoyed across the country. Due to retirement, we're looking for a proactive and capable Production Team Leader to join our production team and help us deliver our award-winning desserts with excellence and care.
This is a key role within production, perfect for someone with a strong leadership style, a focus on operational performance, and the ability to motivate and guide a team through daily targets and food safety compliance.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading and supporting team members within the production area.
Ensuring daily production targets are met in line with department KPIs.
Maintaining efficiency, compliance, and quality across procedures and processes.
Ensuring adherence to all food safety standards, CCPs, SOPs, and H&S regulations.
Recording performance and process data accurately and consistently.
Aligning team strengths with tasks and production priorities.
Motivating your team through fair, respectful leadership and open communication.
Liaising with internal departments (Technical, NPD, HR, Supply Chain, etc.) as needed.
Representing your team and the department confidently during customer or auditor visits.
Requirements:
Experience operating and managing production lines and packing equipment.
A strong understanding of CCPs and food safety regulations.
Proven leadership skills and a hands-on management approach.
Familiarity with root cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques.
Professionalism in engaging with customers and third-party auditors.
Minimum 1 year of team leadership experience (preferred).
