We are now looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to help lead our day shift team. What We Offer: £13.20 per hour with paid breaks Contracted full-time or part-time hours available Shift patterns: 07:00 to 20:15, 07:00 to 15:00, or 15:00 to 20:15 Free DBS, uniform and onsite parking Pension scheme and 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time contract) Ongoing training, development and genuine career progression within a supportive, values-driven organisation As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your care team to provide the best possible care to our residents. You will play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and homely environment where every resident feels respected and valued. You will administer medication, lead handovers, maintain care plans, and act as a role model to your colleagues. What We’re Looking For: Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, with a willingness to work towards Level 3 or already be enrolled Ideally previous experience in a Senior or Team Leader care role Experience administering medication and supporting a team A calm, compassionate and supportive approach Great communication and a team-focused mindset About Us: Thornfield Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family-owned, market-leading care provider with over 100 homes across the UK.
